Please don't bore the Labrador Retreivers

A couple of weeks ago, my cousin, Femi and I were talking about dogs and he said if he were to chose a dog, he'll probably go for a Labrador so I did a little homework on the Labrador specie and this is what I discovered.
There have been various speculations about the origin of Labrador retriever, some of which are the black St. Hubert's hound from France, old European pointer breeds, dogs belonging to the native Indians and working water dogs from Portugal. However, the word 'Labradors' can be traced to the Spanish word for workmen and the Portuguese word for yeomen and laborers, 'Labradores.'
Labrador retrievers are dogs with charisma and friendly eyes. They possess the temperate to be family companions. A highly appraising feature of Labradors is their short, dense, weather resistant coat and its well-balanced conformation makes it easy to work in any field without much effort as well as working for long hours under difficult situations although they shed their coats more often than is expected especially round the haunches. Labradors usually have black brown or yellow (which ranges from cream to russet) coats. Did you know there are more black Labradors than there are brown or yellow. They are prone to hip dysphasia, which leads to arthritis, so they need lots of exercise to stay in good shape.
In my opinion Labradors are quite and interesting bunch and I suggest Labradors are good for families with lots of bubbling energy, because a Labradors is going to get bored in a quiet environment
